DECEMBER THE SIXTH

It is Finlands Independence Day - the day we watch Unknown Soldier, make some good food and watch fireworks and celebrations at the Presiden'ts castle. This morning I made some joulutorttu (what ever that is in English):
So goooood! And now I tell you how to make lemon chili pasta:
Pour crushed tomatoes into pot (keep stove plates temperature low so the sauce won't get stuck in the bottom). When you add ingredients into sauce, you have to cook pasta at the same time.
Add a little bit salt into sauce and also into boiling water
Add extra virgin olive oil (yeees, I knew you saw the Baileys bottle, we'll come back to it later)
Then add black pepper, but be careful with that, if you add it too much it can literally spoil the whole sauce!
It is great if you have these prepared seasoning mixes, it saves a lot of time. Oh, I forgot to say, you can add spices as much as you want, but remember to taste on and off.
You can add much basil, because it isn't so strong. Parsley is also good!
When the water boils, put the pasta into the water. Remember to stir the pasta occasionally, to make sure it doesn't stick to the bottom. I used really wide pasta, because I think the sauce tastes much stronger in wide than in ordinary spaghetti. But that is just matter of opinion.
Mooore chiliii! Add it as much as you want...
Hahahaha I added some tabasco, to make it more spicy!
Then the lemon! You see there one and a half lemon but I decided to use only one, because my boyfriends isn't so into lemon. Sometimes I even eat pure lemon :D it is so goood...
More chili... This is olive oil which includes chili pepper, and that is reeeeaaalllyyy spicy, so if you use it, don't put much...!
Then the last ones! Put some olives and capers, I also poured a little bit liquid from the olive jar.
The sauce should look like this!
Pour pasta and flush it.
When you have flushed the pasta, add little bit lemon olive oil into pasta. Then put pasta into plates and pour the sauce top of the pasta. Stir, and it should look like this:
It is sooooo goood!! And it is a lot easier to make than you think, I just explained it too hard, I think :D Then back to Baileys...
I drank afterwards Baileys, I put milk half of the glass, then little bit baileys and to the top some whipped cream. Damn. Life is wonderful, isn't it? Now I have to go, I want to see the fireworks, seeya!

Eye candy in the kitchen!

If you want to be good wife, you must have one gay friend you can cook with!!
And we made some delicious wok, you will need:

Chop all the vegetables. Put the frying pan to the stove and add some oil. Then add the vegetables but remember to put first the toughest vegetables so they won't remain raw. Cook the noodles and add them into pan. Put some soya, sweet and sour sauce and any spices you like (like black pepper etc.)

And this was the result. Making food with a friend makes me happy. And now my stomach is full of food!

MAMMA MIA what a pizza!

Good wife must know how to make the best pizza dough. Here is the recipe, in english (if u want this recipe in finnish just ask)

The best and the quickest pizza dough ever (4 big pizzas):
15 g fresh yeast
3 dl lukewarm water
2 teaspoons of sugar
1 teaspoon of salt flakes
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 dl durum wheat flour
5½-6 dl special wheat flour

1. Crumble the yeast  into a bowl and silt it by stirring into the water. Add sugar, salt flakes and olive oil.
2. Add durum wheat flour and add special wheat flour little by little. Knead the dough by machine about 10 minutes until it is elastic.
3. Sprinkle little bit flour top of the dough. Put the dough under a cloth and keep it there for 45 minutes or when the dough is twice as big.
4. Heat oven to 250 degrees.
5. Split the dough into 4 pieces on floured table and roll out the pieces and make sure they are thin.
6. Put any toppings you want! I made little pizzas because I can't eat normal size! The first pizza was filled with onions and pineapples and the other one with canned red peppers and pineapples aswell (u can't eat pizza without pineapples...).
7. Cook pizza/s in the middle of the oven about 5 minutes and this was the result:

This pizza dough was the best ever. Use it wisely!
